Recommendation for Genetics for Parents

My parents, who are in their late 60's have recently started an interest in growing some plants, and have received their ACMPR. They are looking for some nostalgic strains from their youth, and am looking for any recs on some true old-school genetics that are available in seed form. They both smoked flower in the 70's-80's and have not touched it since then. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Even though i was around in those years, it would be hard to make suggestions. At least from where i was at, it was almost impossible to trust what any bag contained, by the name that it went by. At first, we got some good stuff that i think was probably from Mexico, that was before the brick that smelled like hot tires. We did get some stuff via ex Navy guys that still had Navy connections that was supposedly from Vietnam/Laos and Thai Stick. But mostly, we got bag weed that was sticks and stones and leaf.

My suggestion would be to start them out on a mild strain, if they have been straight for a few decades. Skunk#1, maybe. The autos would be easy to grow, too.

Well, I am in the same age bracket and probably smoked the same pot back then. Tell them to try Ace’s Zamaldelica for a lively flower and Barney’s Pink Kush for a heavy hitter. Both are easy to grow in or out.
