Recommend me some inexpensive, easy to grow sativas avaliable at Seedbay or botique

Hi folks. I'm going to be upgrading my growrooms and trying to get more serious. Definately want to play with sativas, but I'm not that experienced so I'm hesitant to play with expensive or finnicky genetics at this point, but of course I'm looking for some great keeper sativa genetics.

I want to place a big (for me) order at seedbay and seedbotique (have about $250 total to spend) and have thought about going with destroyer as a pricey strain and then getting a few inexpensive sativas. Then another part of me is thinking to save the destroyer until I'm more experienced and just getting the most good sativa genetics I can get.

So I'm looking for sativas I can get for $50 a pack or less. Less is great, but if there's a killer strain that's $50 or so, I'd happily go for it. Like I said, I will clone these and will have a room to keep some hot mommas or even a father for future long term fun and play.

Some strains I'm considering playing (yes, this is sooo much fun I do call it playing) with are:

Female seeds Sour Northern Lighs x Nevilles Haze 4 pack: $28.99
Something from Mandala seeds: read they're good for the price but not sure if any of their strains are as "sativa" as I'm looking for
Prolly something else from MOD: Price is right. I already have some of MOD's MOD just starting, so considering something else.
Quick Mist Diesel or Wonder Deisel from Res. Seeds: Have heard only good things about his genetics and I like the posts from the guy. Would love to try the sour deisel IBL but the money isn't there right now. At just over $50, this would be one of the pricier packs of seeds. I'm fine with that if these are going to give me a super duper keeper mommy.
Sam the Skunkmans Orig Haze x Skunk 1 Seems like a classic cross that would be very sativa from someone whose genetics are obviously the bomb. This would also be one of the pricier strains.
Maybe something cheap from sativa seedbank?

Well this is what I'm considering right now. If any of you have grown (not just read or looked at pics of) and smoked some of this or some oher inexpensive sativas, I'd really appreciate your input. Maybe some of these I should forget and look at something else?

Well this is in no way a hands down answer just my honest opinion. And after countless hours of internet research of both seed vendors and grow forums the cheapest but most hi quality strains availibile would probably have to be Chimera, Rez , or Head Seeds. All three of these vendors are avilible on both seed boitique and seedbay and all use the top of the line strains but without the top of the line prices. Also almost all of them you can talk to.

Pros of vendors:

Chimera - High Quality parents ((50-60days)Short Flowering Times) most under 100$ per pack
Head Seeds - High Quality Breedin and parents very active on forums very affordable for the genes that go into there seeds.
Rez - Large following, good name and rep for breeding doesnt come when ur a shitty breeder many strains are hybribs of very rare clone onlys that many growers may never beable to get there hands on. Prices no more then anyother high quality seed bank and the quality is there.

Also if your looking for a good quality well known strain and fund are tight nirvana has some nice cheap seeds for many extrmely popular strains(Altho F2s). I would really only use them for white widow ect.

If you want good seeds at a lower cost, look at Mandala. He has some nice sativas at affordable prices.

If you arent that expeiranced with Sativas I wouldnt throw down $130 on destroyer. I would get MOD's beans ( Destroyer X kali mist) or Fjallhogas SSH mix. Save your money on this round . Both will be good smoke and not too hard to deal with. sativas are hard for some on the first run so why chance loosing $130 beans? Learn with MOD and SSH , you can get both for like $60 or so plus a freebie. Learn , run em once or twice then once you learn go for it.

Destroyer is a long flowering sativas which is a pain in the ass for some , espicially with no experiance in Sativas. Give the cheap ones a run and save the $$ for the next run

Thx for the recs. Yes I agree Nevermind. I want to practice and learn with some more inexpensive seeds then get the confidence for some of the less expensive ones.

Which Mandala and Chimera seeds are most sativa and have high praise? The Chimera's are really bordering as much as I want to spend on one strain, but the Mandala's and mod's are perfectamundo. Farmer John posted a pic of Skunkmans Haze x skunk that looked irresistable and I want to try somehing from the Rezman.

Maybe something from tiki seeds too, I think there in the right price range, should be able to buy all these strains on seedbay or seedboutique

Kalishakra from Mandala is described as a potent sativa high.

I've only grown one pure sativa in the last few years, but I had no problems at all with Seedsman's Malawi Gold. I think it's ultimately African Seeds stock. Just harvested a week ago and gone into jars yesterday. It's a gorgeous smoke, even just dry, but I aim to give this one a longer cure - as long as I can stand it anyway! Hashberry and Sadhu.. $50 for both ...Fat yields and Hybirds..no skunk in these strains..top notch.Hashberry made the top 10 strains of the year 2007 ...get the Kalichakra since its medicinal ..3 packs of Mandala seeds

Get the Haze from Nirvana..cheap and crossed with skunk anyways or

Seems you're looking for Silver Hazes, maybe a pack from Spice Brothers "Nevilles Haze another generation" 14 weeks

Just for the sake of my impression of the grow your looking to do, may i suggest a c99 or like cross due to its uniform easy growing tendency's and the amazing sativia buzz its a prefect fit your looking for. It also has an amzing pineapple pheno that many people rave about.

WallyDuck Seeds -C99 F5 $65.01 slightly about ur pricerange but again the only seeds ull need for this if this f5 is speciaficly for the above pheno discussed plants giveing off the pineapple trait were bred to produce more pineapple offspine in the further generations. IF u need cheaper still look at some c99 crosses for cheap they all are good if they got some c99 in them!

Elevator man. That plant is beautiful! Don't think seedsman is avaliable at seedbay or botique? I'm comfortable with them and am scared of getting seeds from anyone else. Wish I could come take a hit of that though!

so many greedbanks out there. one who is not is swiss "bluehemp", lovely seeds by a very serious guy. hemcy sells them. most outdoor.

also i think "no mercy" seeds looks nice and not greedy, but weedy.

Please I'd like to stay at seedbotique or seedbay. So no spice brothers, no mercy, or seedsman. I don't know what "the doc" is, but if it's another place to order from, I'd rather stay clear.

I've been looking at the c99 and crosses, and did really want to get some C99 genetics, but if I got anything, I'd want it to be just the C99 (uncrossed). I haven't seen them in a few weeks from wallyduck.

stoned teacher I would suggest the kalichakra. Its a 70-75 day flowering strain with a clear alert but psychedelic high. The smell is kinda spicy and clean with a herb aroma. It has good branching and clones easily, but she grows tall and fast in hydro and you need to keep an eye on that. I controlled it by supercropping which makes her bushy. But if you do that you need to veg a little longer. Shes very resinous and high yielding. When you get some experience and want to spend a little more reeferman seeds has a fantastic selection of sativas that were bred to work indoors with a shorter height and shorter flowering time.
