Recomended strains for a first time indoor grow

Hey all

I have done a couple small outdoors in the past but this will be my first indoor.
I have been looking at seed sites and I am overwhelmed with all the different strains.
Can anyone point me towards a good strain to start with? I would prefer a indica that does not grow to big. I only have about 70in of height to work with. Smell is not a huge issue but I would prefer one that does not stink up the whole house.

i really like super silver haze or white widow. Both take some time in flower but the some of the best i have worked with. not too demanding but would have to start flowering in about 30 days after seed crack for 70inch height restriction.

Agreed. I have BOG's Blue Moon Rocks and it is very easy and finishes fast. Smoke is great.

Bogs gear is great and don't let me discourage you from supporting Bog, but being as it's your first indoor grow, go with Nirvana. Good hardy genetics at less than half of a Bog purchase. Master Kush, Papaya, Bubbleisious, NL, White Rhino. Easy to grow, good yields, cheap. Great starter strains, 'cause they are quality and cheap.

But, that's just a suggestion. You can't go wrong with Bog

I've been running Ak-48 from Nirvana in an organic soil mix for the last year. Flowers fast, very hardy, very affordable, very potent. I'm sure there is better but for a novice like myself this fit the bill for me.

I re BOGs LSD and there were phenos all over the place. I would stick with an indica, short plants and earlier harvest. Nirvana is a good start or perhaps Female seeds Northern Lights if ya can find a pack.

Id recommend White Widow from Nirvana, she stays medium height and the flower/leaf ratio is insane! Very frosty aswell.

Also AK48 from Nirvana is supposedly kickass and with a very strong and longlasting high aswell. ive been doing research on AK48 and grown White widow

I had the C99 pineapple pheno and it smelled up my entire house. Some of the best smoke I have ever had though.

Since you are looking for a good indica I would go with Northern Lights #5 or #10. I also like C-99 for a easy to grow strain if you are looking for a sativa high. I know you have grown outside but inside a lot depends how tall you start to flower at. Most strains with double in size depending on your lights. You can always tie down, pinch, top, fimm ect, if height is a issue. A lot of good seed companies here check out Gypsy.
