REC Grow

Hey all! I am sort of new here. Last time I posted was about 15 years ago when I had a med closet grow going in ca. I have moved north a bit and am giving outdoor and soil a go. This will be my first run at growing in soil and outside.

The 4 girls I have are clones I got from someone local. Two are lemon kush and the other 2 are trainwreck. They are in 100 gal fabric pots with a mix I got locally. I have had a couple issues already, but they still seem to be doing ok. I think I over fed as there is some burn, and there was a frost right after they went into the pots. They also tried to flower early when they went outside from the change in the amount of light they were getting. I didn't think it was enough to trigger flowering, but I was wrong.

They have been trimmed a couple of times and look like they are about ready for another. The last one was about a week ago.

Any tips or suggestions would be great. :)

Thanks all for stopping by :tiphat:, and the nice comments.
So far I have been watering every 4 to 6 days depending on how hot it is. I use a small Bamboo support stick to check the moisture in the soil. I just push in down to the bottom and then check how wet it is when I pull it out. I might hook up a drip once they go into flower if it becomes a chore.

I hope to be able to do updates each weekend. Here are some shots from today.

Hiya all. Got to love the weekends.
Looks like things are starting to move along. The 2 TW were a lot bushier before yesterdays trim, but since they are starting to stretch they needed all that small stuff gone. I prefer the energy going into growth that will support bigger buds. At least that is the plan lol.
The 2 LK were pretty much set and didn't need much done since the last trim.

You only have four weeks until buds start buddin'. Two 1/2 weeks or so until your natural light causes them to start flowering and you should switch your regiment. Then the girls will stretch even more. Looks great thus far!

Hi all.
Damn heat. We have been triple digits here all week. The coast looks better every summer.

This is what I feed my girls. I do one of these each week.

It is a mix of alfalfa, molasses, worm castings and kelp. I let the kelp and alfalfa bubble for a couple days and then toss in the rest and let it run one more day.

Here are the girls from today. It was 98 out when I took these.

I think next year I will go with bigger pots and trim less.
