Really appreciating Bob Marley

I haven't listened to his music for what feels like a long time, maybe half a year. I put on Misty Morning and it really felt good. Made me realize why Bob Marley is so great. The music, his way of thinking, all that. This one goes out to you, Bob, for changing the way I think, for changing the way I look at the world; it's so much more than just a weed thing. :rasta:

Kaya, I love that track, got in my car the other day in a really bad mood and my mp3 player was on random, it played Kaya and within a quarter mile I was not in half so bad a mood, Bob always cheers me up. One Love!

Well he always did say "Dont worry about a thing, cause every little thing is going to be alright" I love Bob Marley.

Nice to see a positive thread.

Bob Marley was a great man. If the whole world adopted his attitude to life, we'd all be much happier, stoned people.

I might listen to him now to calm down and relax a bit.

~~How good and how pleasant it would be,
before God and Man,
to see the unification of all...Africans! ~~

~~The power of philosophy, yeah,
floats through my head -
light like a feathah,
heavy as lead~~

:rasta: Most people think,
Great God will come from the skies,
Take away everything
And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
You stand up for your rights. Jah! :rasta:

I listen to BOB every morning and night....ALWAYS on the way to work!

Pretty amazing how his words/music can positivly change your mentality.

(I don't think Bob Marley was ever into dogfighting)(joke...hehe)

my alltime fav. Bob song w/out a doubt is "could you be loved"....but there isn't a song I don't like.....some of the super early ska stuff i don't usually listen to.

I don't think I've ever met a person who doesn't like Bob (I know someone is gonna post right after me saying they don't like him)...but seriously I've never heard someone say that they don't like him.

one love

^Me and my buddy were just having that conversation the other day, talking about how everyone likes Bob. Doesn't matter if they're a blue haired granny or a pothead highschool kid, everybody likes his music.

Damn true. Back in highschool one thing I remember everyone in my English class including the teacher had in common was the fact we all loved Bob Marley and his music.

My favorite stuff is his really early stuff, back when he was just a skinny kid hanging around the ska bands at Studio one and they were teaching him about rasta, especially the song "
simmer down"
