My first attempt to reveg. Left quite a few buds on bottom. But they are all browning up less than a week into 24/0. I fed them w regular full strenght veg nutes as i had flushed well in flower, wonder if i shpuld have started light but was concerned there wouldnt be enough N for them.... or is this normal and new shoots will appear like when you cut a shrub way down outside the thi g always looks dead then new growrh appears....??????

When the plant is so established in a container sometimes they don't like having to much leaf matter removed and as a result, the imbalance between veg matter and root matter is too great and the plant slowly dies.... Over wetting the medium compounds this it seems to me.

I now take about five blooming clones off the plant and root them in a beer cup either Ina dome or with a Baggie as a humidity tent... Less space and I've had better luck... Another member said he removes most of the root ball and re plants it in fresh medium... Looked like it worked well but I have no first hand experience.

Good luck! If at all green u can still cut clones too!

Kinda ashamed to even post the pic.... if all else fails can you cut it right off at the ground and hope for new shoots? I do it w ornamental shrubs all the time but i get all plants are wired differently from eadh other...

late summer is iffy for me on the re veg. that one might make it. I always use straight water and try to have more fan leaves than buds. I let them stay kinda on the dry side and find that works better.

Ok, i transplanted to smaller container, was surprised how easy the main root ball came out of the 20 gallon pot, i didnt have to bust much off... so hopefully that will help not having so much soil surrounding it for it to breath.

Straight water huh? I had read i needed to get her N right away to survive... wondering if that hurt me hitting her w that right away. As those green buds sure browned fast womdering if thats some burn not just dying off. Ill let her try till shes crispy or growing, im under my count even with her so i have the room and time to let her try.

That plant is toast.
Its not just the green parts you need to look after, but the roots too. Once you remove the top, the roots have far less to do, and so you need to stop the compost around the roots from getting (and staying) too wet. So whether you use plain or muted water, you could be harming its chances.
You should harvest at the end of a lighting cycle and put the plant straight into veg lighting. The least dark a revegging plant gets the better, but I would keep the light weaker.

I decided to try it with some plants already harvested, it took 20 days for a NLxSk and about 35 days for a sativa to show any new green. Lots of growth new growth right out of the popcorn that I'd left. One was in a hempy pot arrangement and the other was in a modified DWC and that is the way the are now, never took them out of their containers.,,,,,,try it.
