Re-Vegging a tired but beautiful teenager... need input

Well, she's on day 53 and she's too cool to eat her nitrogen now that she's got a hot body, big boobs, and all. I'm not really concerned with it that much because I know its pretty typical for some sativas to act like this late in flowering, but her leaves have been yellowing since day 30 or so and I imagine when I harvest her all of her leaves will be completely yellow by then.

My question is this. Will this plant be an all right candidate for revegging? Will the Nitrogen defiency correct itself if I chop off some of the rootball and put it in some fresh soil? I'd really like to make some clones after she grows back a little bit and then I'll just say good night to mom and work with the kids.

Any suggestions from people who've revegged plants that look like this before?

Chop off all your big buds at the top of your plant and most little ones around the base but make sure you leave a few little budlets or nodes (about 5 or 6) and be sure to leave some nice fan leave near the bottom aswell. You can shop off the bare stalks right down to where the leftover buds are growing from.
You'll have alot of leftover root mass that your plant can't use so you'll have to life it out of it's pot and use a sharp knif and cut back at least 50% of the rootball and try to shake a bit more soil off the remaining roots. Then replant in your regular soil mix as usual on either a 18/6 or 24 hr cycle.
Worked for me.

Yea, its real simple...

just leave a few fan leaves and no budsites, and it will go back in 2-3 weeks.

All right thanks everyone... There's only one problem with what you guys have said. There aren't really anymore large fan leaves from the soil level to about a foot off the soil. There's only little bud sites now where there used to be fan leaves sticking out at the nodes. However, each little bud site around the bottom has maybe one or two little three tippers without any trichomes on them so hopefully that will be enough for it to start growing again. We shall see..

Thanks again
