hello all. I started plants inside when winter was coming to close. i moved them out when spring came and now i am wondering will they go into a re veg period now that days are getting longer or what? if so what should i do and what will happen to my budding plants? thank you all up front for all your help, this is my first real grow and i have high hopes.

You had them 12/12 inside before you moved them out? If so, they will stall for 2 or 3 weeks as they switch back to veg.

When they do start showing new growth again it will look a little mutated and branchy, but they will grow out of it.

Ok, i had them on 18 6. then when they went outside it was still pretty short days. and now it gets dark about 2 hours later than they did when i put them out. and yes one does look a little mutated now and that was what brought the question because i have 30 females and didn't want to ruin what i do have. thanks for your reply!!

yr plants may continue to flower until they sure they're experiencing longer daylight hours. where I am in the s hemisphere this is October.

this flowering will be small and the dope not so strong. come October the flower buds stretch and turn into branches which will begin to flower again some time after the summer equinox.

cheers!

They grow leafs eventually. If I forget to back something up or realize a plant is special part way through flower I routinely cut a few buds off and root them

Here is a Super Lemon Haze bud that is just finished the awkward stage and is now throwing normal leafs.

another one a little farther along.

Notice how branchy it's getting, they make excellent moms. Now, I have never re-veged an entire plant covered in buds, I imagine that it will end up being quite the shrub if it has enough time to turn and grow normal for a month!

so can i cut off the big buds now and then let it veg again and bud again or should i leave it be until fall? thanks for your help

Gotta be honest here, I am dealing with clones indoors, not entire plants outside.

If it were me; if the buds were far enough along to yield some usable oil, I would harvest most, leaving some bottom for re-veg. If not, I would just let it grow out.

What I do to keep on a 12/12 schedule when days are getting longer is put them to bed with a large plastic/cardboard drum. It can be a bit of a pain but it has worked for me.

how are you getting buds at 18/6? and how long have they been outside? you could be dealing with an auto ..... if that is the case let them do their thing and DONT touch them with the scissors until you harvest. the whole re veg deal should be a non issue if that is the case

got a camera?
