Rdwc system question

Hey guys so I have been looking at lots of rdwc systems. Decided to built my own. The set up is simple enough. I have one question tho. In a normal set up the water returns to one Main reservoir then recirculatest to the rest of your buckets. Can the water return to each bucket instead of 1main reservoir? Seems simple enough but I am not exactly sure how the water would flow thru the system.

Then it's not rdwc.....it's dwc. ?
Why recirculate when you could put an airstone in the bucket and call it a day.
Maybe I don't understand what your trying to do....

Ya sorry I most likely did not explain myself well enough. My apologies. No matter what I will have all the buckets attached with 4 in pvc pipe on the bottom. Normally when the water recirculates thru the pump the pump dumb the water back in one bucket/reservoir. I was curious if instead of the water feeding into one bucket/reservoir can the water be feed into each bucket. I would like to not use air Stine if at all possible. I was thinking if the water is feed into each bucket it would help with adding air to the water.

I built my own recirculating system DIY. It closely resembles the one made by current culture, the under current. I can help if you want to do something similar.

whatever you do end up doing you're gonna want to use an air pump and manifold with stones/diffusers/air tube in each growth site for sure though
