Dude, let me just go ahead and say this.

Stick with bulkheads, fuck everything else.

Just trust me, a few bucks saved won't be worth the headaches....

What kind of bulkheads do you recommend for PVC? The CCH20 ones look great but they are more than just a few bucks extra @ roughly $20 a pop.

I have to look, I've found 1.5 inch bulkheads for ~10$ somewhere but this works too, build your own bulkhead for less than 5 dollars.

Hammerhead, maybe I was just unlucky, but the characteristics of hdpe plastic and the method of uniseals seal is not a good combo. IOW, brittle plastic and expansion seals lead to cracks in the plastic unless the hole is perfect.

What ever size hole you need to put is what you need to put.If I need a 3/4 hole I use a 1.25 hole saw with 3/4 uni-seals. I never got any leaks. Im only giving my experience with them. All of our Vortex tea brewers are made with Uni-Seals..

Good luck
