Rapid Rooters for Clones?

Hey guys Im tryin to clone in rapid rooters but I have some questions I need to figure out. Is the rapid rooter supposed to be very damp, or are you supposed to try and keep it just moist like rockwool? Also do you have to presoak the rooters like rockwool? Thanks for all the help

No pre-soaking necessary. Just keep them moist to damp. They should be a medium brown color without much shine. If they are shiny from water content lay off the H2O. If they turn a lighter brown and look spongy, give them some water.

The RR Plugs work like champs when cloning, too bad they aren't reusable.

I use them on every clone I take, and I havn't lost a clone yet. I just drop em in a cup full of water, pull em out give em a little squeeze and they are ready to go. I flip em upside down so they don't tip over after the clones in. I put them inside a clear tub and then pour just enough water so that all the rooters are getting the bottoms wet. Wait 7 days and I have roots!

Greenbdman.... so your saying you keep water on the bottom of the tray, so the rapid rooters are sitting in water?

Yep! That's my method anyway. Not too much water though, just enough so that all the bottoms get wet.
