Hey Thc.....I personally never belive what I read. I take it all as heresay till I grow it myself. I know most of us are like this just had to say it. Here is a post that might make a lil sense to the larry cut. It make more sense to me then any other and Ive been reading a while. I might be running purple bubba...who knows???who cares its dank either or.

good to hear from ya! I never knew taking flics of plants could be so much fun, man. I'm not doing these girls any justice with my poor picture takin skills though. I think im not using proper lighting. i'd appreciate any tips if you got em.

i guess im callin that purple bubba "larry" cause i know some OC heads that
have been scoring that same kush for some time and the person they get it from calls it OGKush "larry". also i've seen some peeps on this site with the same exact lookin plant callin it original OGKush?!?.... whatever it is it is top notch dank!

my buddy also got that purple bubba from Katsu on CW back in the day and its basically the same as the pre98 bubba that i've been running. whatever the case i LOVE em both equally but as far as potency goes....the purple bubba is a slight notch above the 98.

Damn I hope my Katsu purple Bub is the real deal....sounds like the one to have.

I have read on here that Bubba crosses/hybridizes/selfs very well.....wouldn't that make it a more stable strain? That's my assumption. There was that post everyone here probably knows (where it was also said OG= Ocean grown) it was stated that Bubba was stabilized over several generations, this all seems consistent to me....wasn't going to reply on this topic either just couldn't help it.....was just going to say:

Thanks man, ya it's a touchy subject.
I hesitate to even post pic's of the OG Kush's. Let alone start a thread about it.
It's all speculation of course. But I'm pretty sure the OG I have is the mother of BUbba Kush. If you grew em both together and then smoked em together.
It's pretty obvious. But like I said it's nothing conctrete.
Just my opinion on the subject after years of growing and reading about it and trying to figure it out. But I still might be wrng because alot of what I read is just hearsay.
All I really know is what I grow. And the original OG Kush is in the Bubba Kush not the other way around. The OG I have is not a Bubba hybrid is what I'm saying.
The Bubba I have is an OG hybrid, though.
From what I can tell. You can taste the OG in the Bubba but not the Bubba in the OG.
See what I'm sayng. But it's all speculation. I'm not real sure about any of it.
