Random newbie question.

I have a nice plant going which I had from seedling in a small pot. Now after 2-3 weeks of growth it is doing nicely and I am seeing roots coming out of the base of the pot.
My question is it time to repot into something larger?
How large should the next pot be and should the next pot be the final pot?
The strain is Critical auto or Blue Widow. I think critical auto.
I'm growing under CFL's.
Here is a pic...

I have a similar decision to make about an older Tangerine Dream plant which is in a slightly bigger pot. Just topped it a few days ago and it is growing nicely. The roots are also beginning to show at the bottom of the pot. It has been in veg for 2-3 weeks.

Looks like its time to transplant into a bigger pot. Maybe transplant into a 1-2 gallon pot.
Dont know how long to veg, but I finish in 5 gallon buckets. Hope this helps some.

I'd say by sight you won't have to re-pot for another 7-10 days.
You can tell a plant is rootbound because she'll be drinking water and then a few hours later she'll be drooping again, asking for MORE water! At that point it'll be time to re-pot and let her rootball expand even further, but she seems fine for now. I left mine in little 150ml cups for 2 weeks before repotting as a growth reference.

When you do re-pot, make sure you do it ~5-6 hours after watering them, this will ensure that the earth will be moderatly hydrated (but not soupy!) and when you pull her out of her pot, the rootball will come out intact.
If you try re-potting when the dirt and dry and frail it'll be quite a messy operation and you will run the risk of ripping the stalk from it's roots. (Wich I have done twice :0 )

This will tell you all you need to know:
