... bored at home and posting a "forget about covid 19 for the minute" thread....


Bottom box is 18 gallon, upper 2 are 10 each. Five 8.5w 5000k SILeds....approx 18x12 flower(should say vegetative)area, now have 1st clone(got 4/4 success here, but cascading dates) at just transplanted to 1.5 gallon pot... We shall see....

Veg box filling up a little to fast.... Hoping to chop the flower box this Thursday or Friday. 3 of these will be going into flower right after...

1st pic, full canopy in veg box.
2nd and 3rd, 3 plants going into flower, one in 1.5 gallon container and 2 in what I think are 4 cup containers.

4th pic was the last to root, and still shortest plant. 2x bushier than either 2 or 3. Think I will try my hand at a mother plant.

Nice rig. I started out in a stealth tote setup very similar to yours. Think I'll tag along for a while.

I built this one because I was tired of going start to finish in 1 box. Also, nosy kids and grandkids who are here often enough to be of concern. Nobody will notice these, in the right place.

My next step is to get 2 larger, similar totes(to make a similar, larger box), with a baby box for the top of them (to house the carbon filter), to expand my flower box. Right now, I have 11x16 floor space with about 20 inches to the face of the lights. I'd like to get to about 14-16 x 24-26 with at least 24" horizontal room. I can do that relatively easy.

Then, go 1 plant per side(effectively doubling my flower space. I have 1.22sf for flower now) as a perpetual with harvest every 4 weeks.

starke, I should have added that although I wish I had the room, your 2.1 lbs would throw my wife over the edge....lol....

Her thought is "don't smell, don't tell". And keep it small.

I know what you mean about nosy grand-kids. The misses and I have 15 between us.

2 pounds sounds like a lot but I grow basically for the family, so some goes to our adult kids and some to a few friends with medical issues. That still does not change the fact that the misses and I are your typical potheads and pretty much smoke from daylight to dark. And then there are the edibles...

Only really growing for the wife and I. Although I might gift a clone to oldest (step)son to get him started. Right now he buys black market carts and flower to sell to his friends, but he is rethinking that.

I can microdose vaping all day and be fine (with a base of mild edibles). My wife is like that one friend we all have that always says "I'm not feeling anything, I'm not feeling anything...", just before they pass out...lol... Luckily(for her more than me) is that she can't navigate her day high, so only does it with me. But it is an almost continual cycle of "load the toy .... Load the toy,...... Load the toy....".

I only discovered edibles in the last year or so. I am sold!
