Raising night/lights-off temps in a small tent?

Hey yall I have a small 2x2 tent which is currently configured to pull in cold air from the outside. I cannot change the airflow config so this is the way it has to be.

This is great right now during lights-on where I am sitting comfortably in the mid-70s but during lights-off it dips into the 50s.

Anyone have any ideas on how to raise the temps inside the tent during this period? I have a plug-in thermostat from LUX that can be used to control whatever but I'm not sure what to use for the actual heat source.

My current idea is to use something like a small foot-warmer pad or reptile heater plugged into this and hope that it will get me at least into the 60Fs in the small space (no clue if it will) but I would love to hear other ideas.

Here, check out this thread. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=296916

I had a similar problem. I ended up just adding a 70 pint dehumidifier, which adds plenty of heat for the night. When I don't need the dehumidifier, I run a small oil heater on its lowest setting (with thermostat set). But my room is bigger than yours.

Maybe try to dehumidifier rods? (Second link in first post). They are made for like gun safes (etc). They dehumidify by adding small amounts of heat to the air.

There was another suggestion in that thread, they said to put a small aquarium heater into a bucket of water and put it in there at night. Thought that was a good idea too.

Have you any experience with the dehumi rods? I was first looking at "tubular greenhouse heaters" but it seems like they are only sold in the UK so these would be a perfect alternative.

I've no clue what size to start with, but amazon shipping/returns should make this an easy experiment nonetheless.

No. Sorry I don't. Like I said I just ended up getting a regular dehumidifier cause I was having humidity spikes when the lights went out. It took care of the humidity and added enough heat. So I never ended up trying those rods.

re design your intake...yeehaw...put in a y with the flapper thing....you could try seedling heat mats ...dehuey setup will prob draw more electricity then your lights use....aquarium heaters use a lot of juice too and would make humidity rise a lot ...

there is a pet product called "hound heaters" that is intended to heat dog houses. it is shaped like a light bulb & can be threaded into a light socket, but gives off heat but no light.

Is it okay to dial down the Vortex or what not to retain heat at light off,
will the lack of airflow cause more problems then a big temp diff?

I've also read some post here about using a small water filled slow cooker.

Adds humidity and heat, but won't the exhaust cancel out benefits?

I run a slight positive pressure and use a sliding cardboard cover to restrict the exhaust at night. Stopping it completely ran the humidity up to 100%.
Less air out equals less cold air in. If there is a spot it can be restricted, only a little needs to get through for humidity control.
If heat control takes two air exchanges per minute then humidity will take one every four minutes. Moisture does not accumulate fast, it just never stops.

Thanks for the suggestions all, especially on the venting ideas. I will play around with them and hopefully come up with something that works.
