rain, low temperatures, flowering

Hello,

Anyone has noticed how rain, low temperatures, prevent cannabis from flowering?
Comparing balcony grow with forest grow that started at same time, the balcony grow is all flowering, one or two with good buds, while at forest grow flowering is minimal with just 2 pre-flower males spotted and culled.
sample is like 10 vs 10. Latitude is 39 and sowing was at end of january.
in the past i had good results flowering plants before summer with plants protected from rain.

maybe this could info could help preventing cuts from flowering when they are prone to to that.

bye

I think what you are seeing is difference of light strength, not rain amount. Generaly the more sun a plant gets, the faster it will flower.

ValleyKush "Generaly the more sun a plant gets, the faster it will flower." ok. the forest plants get more sun from midday forwards and they have less vigor (now). But if photoperiod was the only thing triggering flowering shoud not all of them at least have pre-flowers? that is not the case.

corky1968 "Cold water can give you raisin bag. It's the same with plants" :) ...maybe the cold and humidity of the forest makes them wait for better flowering conditions and so they will start flowering at summer.

i wonder that the balcony plants think it is allready autumm because photoperiod is short and because they do not have humidity all day think (like spring has allready gone...)

thanks for the comments
