ICmag - the only place I ever win anything.

I might grow a couple of them just so the folks who really wanted them don't get too upset. The rest will get split between 2-3 local growers.

Pretty well stocked right now though. Had to pull what could have been an amazing yielding StrawD last night. Summer came back with a vengeance this week and the heat caused her to pop nanners everywhere.

Temps were high initially, but aside from this week, they hadn't gone over 80*. This week they were over 90* for 3 days. Still need to look at the other 2 closely.

You are, aren't you... ;)

Getting the rain today?

Yeah high temps in summer E D for the indoor grower, works sometimes but not the way it should lol.
Kinda why I took some of the summer off inside.

Oh yes thankful for the rain today, stressing out about a couple of the girls that I don't get to often. But today wasnt enough, I gotta get out there asap. especially now their bulking.

@ wildgrow- what do you use for flowering/when they bulk? (outdoors)

No, definitely not enough. Lighly watered Friday, heavily fed yesterday. Ill be watering tomorrow or Tuesday, feeding again Thursday.

The past 2 years I used FF and low N guano. My application was sporadic at best. This year Im using GH nutes, Lucas formula. Im adding Floralicious Bloom and just used up the rest of the guano on them. Im trying to feed them every 5 days with straight water in between.

Past years I just threw out whatever I had. That was usually unproven genetics from testers or plants I hadn't flowered inside before.

Cut down a huge sumac yesterday and that flooded my spot with sweet sunlight :D

That kinda sounds like me this year, I am trying To do better by the girls this year, as apposed to last years where I just put em out and say "good luck, I'll see ya in a month or so".
This season I'm feeding them FF GB, and trying out the Earth Juice bloom oh and teas with molasses. Feed-water-water-feed
Along with a little better gen's, it was bag seed all the way but its nice to actually have an idea what they might turn out to be.
Like many the plan is to get better as the years go by and I have got to admit since I got on here things have improved greatly just in a few months, (learned a lot) lookin back I wasnt that bad ,I had a green thumb but it wasnt the shade of green it could be.

Sumac, you can make a nice tea:thinking:, makes me think of all the alders I had to cut and trim to make my plots. I dont know if its the same where you are but shit has grown up.. wow used to use hand trimmers but dam I need a D R bush hog lol.

My 1st indoor, liked 20 years ago, was bagseed and it came out better than the bud they came from. Nothing wrong with the right bagseed. Keepers and even elites have been bagseed.

I was thinking tea actually. Funny. People in other parts of the country might say - 'I hope you wore gloves' - assuming poison sumac.

My spot is a work in progress - not bad, but it could be better. I strategically take down a tree here and there over time so it doesn't look too different from the air. I can visit often so most of the vegetation around them has been trampled into dwarfism.

Oh yeah dont get me wrong I still rock the bag seed, pretty much every drop, I said it before- B.s's are just genetics that lost its name.

Thought I had a winner this year out doors but its late start and stretch has filled me with doubt.

And my males I couldn't tell ya there names of what they can do but thats just what I got.
I do plan on grabbin any bona fide pollen I can, everyone i know just culls them. I plan on chucken some pollen on some of my fav's, so I can hit it hard next run outside and have an idea out what the out come might be.

Here are some pics of the White Rhino, their stacking nice and going strong but it looks like they need a couple of more weeks. Not looking good, we're getting the cold weather a little early for my taste and frost is sure to come soon.

Yes I went out early this morning to shake the dew off, my mind started to race after talking about all the moister we were getting yesterday, but all is well the Rhino(s) is bulking up and DAMN the crystals, yum- yum looking like a good investment in time, you know its there 70 - 80 yard out so I want them out before hunting.

My blue Dream(s) are also doing good/better than expected along with a Hawaiian that is pretty much done (mostly Indica)

All in all I probably did better than expected in quality and quantity but I dont want to put my foot in my mouth, not at the finish yet

its like that saying- dont like the weather? wait 15 mins.

weather does look like it will turn in our favor :dance013:

Update

Update

Here is a pic of the whole White Rhino mother token at the same time as the most previous one's.

I went and checked them on Sunday and she is starting to bulk up more and hairs are turning (about 40%) and it has a touch of purple witch I am sure is do to cold for the most part.

The clone's that I took from her are the same except one that had finished up and looked like it had no more to give. It also was one of the only ones I put in the ground and I guess you could say neglected, compared to the others...... but the other two in the same spot look good and I will let them go as long as I can.

One of the clones ( in ground)

She did pretty well for being cooped up in a 5 gal bucket all summer and a couple weeks of neglect with I would love to keep her and see what she does in other situations ( bigger pots/in ground and/or inside)
