R/O hookup help

Hi everyone.

Finally got settled in and really need to hook up my reverse osmosis filter. It has been barely used, and did come with the color-coded hoses, but in the move the instructions were lost and some of the hoses are unhooked.... I was wondering if someone could help me figure out where everything goes? It is an AquaSafe R/O unit from Canada. I can't even find their website to look for the instructions.

I would like to put a T in the output line, so I can also hookup the icemaker in my refrigerator along with filling up 50 gallon poly drums. Would that be a problem? I have great water pressure

Thanks for any help.

"Red line goes from cold water feed from the faucet, blue line goes from the unit to the storage tank, yellow line goes into the wastewater drain"

Found this in another thread, does it sound right?

Mine is just a small 2 gallon under the sink model. OmniFilter. I, too, have color coded hoses, but from the sounds of things, ours are a little different. Have you already checked the manufacturers website?

With mine, the red line comes off the supply line between the sink's faucet the supply line hook ups. The yellow goes from the unit itself into a 2 gal holding tank. It works both ways - puts it in, lets it out. Then there is a little faucet that is fed by 2 lines, a black and a blue. The waste water is then let go from the little faucet into a larger black line that goes into the sink's plumbing. Hope that makes sense and is maybe a little help. I was boggled when I pulled the thing out of the box.

Spaced...

I just checked mine for ya. Red is the feed or water input (cold water). On mine black goes to the drain. Blue goes to the output. There is usually a couple cylinder looking filters, those are the prefilters to trap the small sediment. On mine there is also a yellow hose that hookes up to a 3 gallon holding tank but in your case I'm not sure if you have a holding tank.

Thanks much Arkaya...yea, I have the white holding tank, and a little dentist-like stainless-steel water spout. Believe one of the hoses is orange, don't have it with me to look at right now.

Really appreciate the help.
