R/O Distance from Reservoir

Hey I’m on well water currently DWC. Last run I bought bottled ro and had success. Now, trying to use 250ppm 8.5ph well water and my plants are not digging it at all. I’ve gone from using a 1ml of ph down per gallon for a 30 gallon Rez to almost 4ml of ph down per gallon.

The plants hate it lol. So I’m looking at a 100 gpd 4 stage aquatic life ro unit. This would hopefully fill a Brute in a day or so ? I’m on a well so it looks like I need a booster pump kit to up pressure. If I run the system at 50-60 psi at the ro membrane will it push to my res 20-30 feet away in another room?

Thanks so much for any responses!

Also any suggestions for humidifying? I’m sitting at 25RH in a 12x12x10 room with a 315cfm fan running at about 50 percent speed. There is a noticeable difference in leaf health between my mom room and the main room at 40RH and 25RH respectively. Looking at VPD I see I have a massive deficit at 73 degrees lol. thanks!

Wendull is correct. :) The output tube is very small and you can run over 40 feet of line easily.

Yes, you'll want a booster pump. I recommend the kind which have an auto-shutoff. Use a float valve on your brute, and when it shuts off your pump will shut off. I use a mag-drive submersible pump from there and 1/4" hydro hose to reach where I want after this. :)
