A sad day indeed. I enjoy all types of music and have a little Pavarotti (The Three Tenors) on CD & DVD. I'll play some tonight no doubt.
My well wishes go out to all of his friends & family as well as his die hard fans who'll miss him the most. I hope he didn't suffer too much pain.

One of the few greats in the past 50+ yrs...Caruso...Mario Lanza..Pavarotti...
I really enjoyed his voice when I was relaxed and in the mood for truly powerful opera..
