I guess red eye makes them in batches or something. When I picked those up there were atleast two others just like them, not exactly identical, a few of the canes were in different spots and they were a bit smaller, but all in all the exact same pipe. I just picked the ones with the least imperfections.

used to pots, boiling one at one time then switching halfway through to keep the heat high, we didnt take the ISO anywhere near the flames

didn't see much amber until it really started to get down to the last of the iso, it only took two hours with 1/3 bud crammed into the jar, so it could have been a half a jar full of buds.....and then filled up the ISO just about 1/4 above the buds like you said


it only took two hours, I was very pleased with this considering it usually has taken a lot longer in other attempts

The first rip I took literally knocked my ass on the floor. I am a heavy smoker, but I just used a small amount of this isowash. It was my outdoor Jedi buds too, didn't wanna smoke em cuz I knew there had been a lot of caterpillars on them, so that leaves poop behind everywhere.....

GREAT STUFF shmike, big big props to you, a buddy of mine and I did this last night and we were super stoked on the end result and can't wait to do it again!!!!

I'm glad you found the tutorial useful caligreen, you did a perfect job dude, couldn't have done it any better myself. It's a good thing you gave this thread a bump, I just did up a small batch this morning...

Now that is a sweet pic of some very clear honey oil. This is the quality to have. You can name your price when you have stuff of this quality. The only stuff that I have seen clearer than that has been done with light solvents, eg: petroleum ether.

I like to smoke mine on a bed of ashes, that way it has something to soak into as it burns. I found I got a better burn and a bigger volume of smoke.

No Brita filtering going on here. I just strain through a tea strainer and then filter through a coffee filter.

What kind of camera did you use for that oil shot?

...Nothin' special, just a 5.0 MP Kodak.

Two screens in a bong does the job for me. But I do occasionally twist up a oil joint, or hit up the glass hot knives.

I think those are the same screens you use for your sink. They come in different sizes, get em at a hardware store... home depot, Lowes

Oh it rolls just fine, I'd say they're easier to roll than a plain doob. The oil holds the weed in place and keeps it from falling out of the ends of the paper.

Smoking those things is a different story, so use at your own risk. I can barely finish one to myself. I just start going cross eyed from the pinch of every hoot, and all I can do is sit there and concentrate on building up what remaining saliva I have to insulate my throat from the heat of the next lung crippling tug.

by the way, where do you pickup those little screens?

Which little screens? For smoking or straining?

btw when people do a search for a qwiso thread so they can find the tutorial, they aren't gonna look at page 8 (or post 104) to find it, they're gonna look at the very first post where it should be and see that you deleted it for some reason. and then they're gonna get frustrated that there's no damn qwiso tutorial on icmag

well.....
after straining thru a coffee filter i poured the love filled liquid into a pyrex dish....

applied the space heater on "Low" for 3 hrs or til 'cloudy'

then i placed it on top of the cablebox overnite.
fresh scraped hash in the morn.

i use the cablebox to germ my seeds too.
works like a charm.
