Very nice bro! Ya know I have been doing this quick wash for a while and I have been seeing people regularly doing 2 runs with the same batch. I'm thinking especially since you only did your run for 10 seconds, you could probably do another run and get very similar results in hash. I wanted to do 2 runs today with my trim/buds, but I accidentally poured water into the jar after I used them for one run. Oh, a nice bowl I ripped a few minutes ago just hit me, mmmmmmm Let us know if you do try 2 runs next time, I will also keep ya informed if I do.

dontstepongrass-Sup man, nice hash, but you could get a more pure hash if you washed your buds for less time. How long did you have the alcohol in with the buds? I used to get black tar and love it lol, but really the best stuff is amber! Still though, I remember gettin way baked back in the day off the tar


Did a run the other day, and smoked it all so quick I did another today. I didn't take pictures today cuz I got less, but it's still daaanky. Check it out the other day was really fun.

This is pretty much what I am smoking right now. Un-churned oil, dank but I like the buttery shit better.

Like I said though, I churned the shit up a bit, and it turned butter! well golden at least and different lol. One day to sit and it was butter for sure. Nice crumbly texture, fun to smoke.

To be honest it was good, but I let the butter sit for one day and it was almost a crumbly texture you could handle better. It was still sticky, but a different texture and it actually melted and bubble beautifully, and got me just as stoned as the day before. But as I said it was easier to handle, I will have to take pictures next time I get a lot of oil and I churn it and let it sit. That's a good process. I shook both runs, the other day and today for 30 seconds. Alright I'm out, good shit guys, keep the thread up! PEACE

caligreen - that iso was made from moldy hash, so yea...

the iso turned BLACK pretty immediately during the wash haha in fact, i had to keep pouring it off and adding fresh stuff because the iso had reached its saturation point hehe

caligreen your oil looks great, you must be enjoying that. I'd recommend getting a new razor blade tho man, rust isn't good for the body.

Really do you think that the little bit of rust on there could contaminate the oil?? Not cool, I knew I needed new ones, I just hoped I wasn't smoking any rust...Or I hope I'm not......just smoked a bowl a minute ago lol.

Probably not enough to hurt you cause it seems like its deep in the crevices not flaky but I'd replace them the next time your where ever you get em, you should be able to get a pack for cheap, try wrapping them in tin foil between uses.

There are a lot of poorly made alcohol extracts on this site lately. Runny, dark green, over exposed and poorly purged looking shit. All I have to say to that is, eeeewwwwwww...

I still have yet to get anything that amazing but I am working towards it. Even my shitacular QWISO gets me stoned so I can only imagine what some quality stuff will do!!! Nicely done Shmike!

Nice pics my man.
I would like to add one thing.
With 91-99% ISO I use a seedling mat and a fan on high blowing right on the ISO.
Within 8 hours it is ready to scrape.
If it ever gets hard again I stick it back on the seedling mat and it becomes pliable again.
No flames and no worries of over heating.

I really like QWISO. What sets me back a bit is how difficult it is to manage (at least what I've scraped up has generally been a "glop" that is hard to work with AND smoking it in a pipe with a screen generally results in it melting and forming further inaccessible glop on the bottom of my pipe. It just doesn't make a lot of sense (sinse?) for me to put it on top of a bud or in a joint...seems counter-intuitive and defeats the purpose of getting that pure hash thang going. But, I read and learn. THanks for a great thread and great photos.
