I started seeds under regular hallide and grew them to sex showing.I then put the males under a very high k florescenct bulbs or super blue lights due to space issues. This made some of the males hermin.Different seed lots and all. I assume that as blue light inforces female expresion that forced males that had intersex traights to show.The seedling had only just showed there sex so that may have something to do with it.I wuold like to try the reverse and grow seedlings under high k then put females under a sodium (red light) and see if that also induces herms.This is all to weed out the crap and is along way from written in stone science.sorry for my spelling

Many go blue light to red without problems run after run after run so looks like nothing proven to me.
Hell it's pretty much how the seasonal light change goes as fall brings a less direct angle of light causing it to pass through a lot more atmosphere than when more directly lit like mid summer.
In the end most it can be is another unwanted susceptibility to herming out that's just written in the genes.
Imo it'll always just come back to the genes cause I seen plenty of plants take plenty of environmental abuse n not herm, so it's always going to be just weed out the weak n use the strong.

This is so wrong its embarrassing, perhaps you can get away with such a post at GC or RU, not here, herming is an issue that indicates a very poor strain or in this case a very over stressed plant,
Considering weeding out the bull in your head and really study this canna subject at heart
