quick water wash down before harvest?

Anyone give their plants a water spray down as early as a week before harvest? I'm considering on a small outdoor plant thats probably 1 to 2 weeks out and has some aphids and a few mites. Seems like it might be nice to wash off anything else like dust/dirt as well? Of course don't want to risk rot/mold. still pretty warm and dry in interior nor cal. Shake them and dry them out pretty quick and it should be ok? anyone?

Hello all,

Last year I had a small issue with PM. I used Greencure to treat it.

At harvest time,

I made a bucket of half strength Greencure and a bucket of water.

Last year I wet trimmed the buds then I would dip and swish in warm water Greencure and then rinse in warm water, shook them vigourously and then hung them indoors of my garage.

Worked just fine for me. Your mileage may vary.

A sided benefit that I noticed that eh buds burned clean and looked beautiful.

I was amazed and the dirty brown water. This would be the air borne contaminents that landed on the buds during growth.

It is a similar approach the Jorge Cerventas(sp) uses peroxide instead.

Ive grown small autos and late planted clones in the ground outside. The rain splashes up muddy dirt on the lower buds. I just give it a good rinse in the sink, then a shake before hang drying.

make sure its cold water.. warm water can and will get rid of some terpenes.. meaning ur smell will suffer.
