quick question on inductor fan?

intake on my flower room from outside is 8". it has an inline fan on it which comes on when the cooling cycle sent from my environment controller tells it to keep temps lower. problem is, during lights off, smell is seeping to the outside through this line since the fan isn't running. I'm thinking I can put an inductor fan on this line and have it running 24/7 (at a very low spin) simply to keep smell from getting out. I'm open to suggestions as well. btw-can this inductor fan spin fast if my other fan comes on during cooling cycle?

Well a duct damper electric or mechanically controlled would be one way. A booster fan on full time and main fan on the controller could work as well as temperature speed controller for main fan.
