Not unless they are in flower and placed near the buds, or is shading all over other fan leaves. As the leave turn yello/brown, it releases the stored up nutrience.

so overall they are not bad to have? is this bad for me to have fan leaves turning this color? is it over feeding or lack of nutes. they are just now starting to flower?

No, nut unless they are shadowing from rest of veggetation, or creating rott.

Leaves can turn yellow for many reasons, lack of nutes, over feeding, over watering, over heating, pH-problems etc. But yeah, it's a sign of a problem when the are yellowing in start/mid of flowering. Posting a picture would be the easiest way for us to tell you what the yellowing may be caused by. It's much about where the yellowing is accuring and what other symptoms might be showing.

Many things cause yellowing and you should be worried if your just going into flower , over watering can be your problem, pending on how long you vegged types of nutrients you could have salt build up thus locking out important nutrients
when changing into flower plants will need more P and K in this stage
What i suggest you do is give your girls a flush with a mild nutrients making sure runoff ph and ppm / ec are coming out as same as what you are putting in :thank you:
