Quick Collect

Anybody ever use Western Union Quick Collect for payment? Specifically for bghydro? How did you go about doing it and what was your experience like? And is this an accepted form of payment for either the bou or the bay?

When I was younger and money wa tight, I used that service to send in house payments. Works just like wiring money to a person.

I'm not too sure I'd do any more that pay bills with it tho. Damn sure wouldn't buy grow related gear with it, but that's just me. I'm a little noidish.

I thought it was supposed to be just like a MO but quicker? OH well, I guess I'll just use regular MO? What about using prepaid cards through paypal or something?

For seeds, I have just mailed cash or a money order. I have only bought from an online hydro store once (a tri-meter), and I had a (non growing) buddy place/receive the order.

All other grow equipment was cash and carry.

Those guys have been jerks to deal with in the past. In my experience,they will get your money then contrary to their web site inventory they will be out of stock of most of it. As always, your mileage may vary.

Well they did inform me that a lot of items I wanted were out of stock but they would be in within a couple weeks to ship out. Not a problem for me. Did they pull one over on you somehow?
