Hello all I am new to the challange that i have taken upon myself over the past few months and i think i have done pretty well. I planted in early july just to see if i could do it. so here we are in sept. and all 6 plants have started with the buds. I have figured out my 2 larger plants are male and the smaller ones are females. i dont know a lot about cannibas but do the males make for acceptable smoke or should i just through them away. These plants are from seeds me and a few friends have gathered since last spring so who knows how good it is, i just want there to be decent amounts of THC in them. i will try to get some pics up soon. any help would be apreciated.

well I wouldnt smoke them just gives you a headache and unless their some really potent males and if just from some bagseed they might not be, their not worth it and not to mention they'll seed your grow if they havnt already started, best thing is just to toss em man.

hello jeepman, if you save the males, they will pollinate the females and your herbs will have seeds in them. so it is best to get rid of the males.
be well. peace.

less you want thousands of seeds and no weed then keep the males or else off with them and into the trash tey go :)

the yellowing is from not enough nitrogen, the plants as they flower will suck all the nitrogen from its leaves

off the males before they pollinate your females. don't waste your time trying to make hash from them. good luck.

well i went ahead and cut the 3 males down and tossed them in the stream. I have 2 smaller weaker looking females left. i will water them tonight because we have had no significant rain in the past week here. Any thing you all can recomend to help them blow up. i would really like to have some kind of success just to pump me up for next season.

have you fertilized them? if not, you should consider it doing it. find some liquid humus and add as directed in the bottle. peace out.
