questions about hash

i haven't seen hash around in years and now a guy has morrocan hash, but he is selling it for 30 a gram (according to him - its a hookup he says he has been selling it for 40 a gram). Is this maroc hash worth 30 a gram in a place that hasn't seen decent hash in years?

i can get a 1/8th of an oz for 100...
that is a pic of the hash.

what do you think about it?

btw im not in nor cal im on east coast.

If good Moroccan hash then yes worth it. Pretty sure retail price for good bubble out here in Cali is about that...but I think tumbled/sifted/whatever, like Moroccan, is better than bubble anyway. Not much of a break on the 1/8th though...will he give you a taste (?)...lol...should be the clincher.

in commercial terms, i would argue that bubble by in large would be more potent than its sifted cousin(s). still, ive commonly seen moroccan at 25 per g so its not that far off.

go to the smokers guide and see what they recommend for methodology in testing a piece of hash.

That depends on the quality of the sift/tumble. No joke but have made a few lbs of bubble over the last few years from frozen wet to all dry trim and everything in between. Dry sift/tumble holds up better over time. Supposedly the Afghans don't like to smoke anything less than a year old...try that with bubble...lol. I do not like the water process unless I'm basically gonna smoke right away or put it in the freezer to keep till I'm ready.

well the real question is... are you willing to pay? do you want it bad enough?

unless you really know the guy, i'd put a nug down that he's jiving ya and its really 30 for everyone. Just trying to get you to get a $100....

but that's the dealers game, so make him play it all the way and give ya a taste.

If you grow you can make a hash shaker for your bud leaf very cheap. For material all you need is an empty two liter soda bottle, a permanent coffee pot filter with a metal screen ( $5 at walmart ) and a roll of duct tape. Dry your bud trimmings and when they are dry put them in the freezer overnight. Cut the top off the soda bottle and put in your bud leaf and then duck tape the coffee filter to the top of the bottle. Shake the bottle filter side down over a mirror or some other smooth surface and use a plastic card to collect the trichs. If you then put the material in the palm of your hand and let your body heat warm it, it will stick together so you can roll it into a ball. The overall quality of the kif really depends on how good the trimmings were to begin with.

I know this doesn't help with your question about paying $30 a g for storebought. I used to love hash but it kills my lungs. Of course when I used to love hash it was $60-$80 an oz, lol.

give it a try... as euro is really strong these days, that would be around 17E/g, i wouldnt pay that in amsterdam or europe, but in the US why not...

Quite expensive.. but then again I'm from Europe too
Maroc is all about the taste for me - a good maroc just has that winner spicy smell and taste. Potency is also pretty good but probably not up there with good bubble.

High norcalfor20, moroccan of that color is very medium grade. I doubt potency to be very high. I think it is expensive. Up here in french north america(1) it is worth 10-15 on the street(4-6 in bulk)(can$).
Really good moroccan can be quite dark and it can be very lite blonde also, I have seen many different shades of very good moroccan...I guess you have to have a good taste to decide.
The best hash is often the one you make yourself !

Pg 19 of this thread is what it really looks like, its old, rock hard, has to be fluffed with a lighter. Its definitely medium grade. All my friends loved it, but it definitely isnt worth the $100 an 1/8 he is charging, if that pic is the one he showed you, its the same stuff.

Oh you gain a tolerance to it quick too, believe me I bought a 1/2 of it and a couple 1/8ths.

Your buddy is getting that hash from an online supplier from Holland.That is the EXACT same pic on the suppliers menu.

The guy sells it at around 220 euros an ounce including delivery and 20% extra for Insurance if i rember rightly.

So no its not worth $100 a 1/8th I cant PM yet or I would let you know the guys details and how to order.You can get a half oz for like 140 euros and that would include delivery to the states and insurance in case it gets siezed.

Im sure someone else will let you know.A few people here will have seen that picture.I have an ounce of purple power in the mail from the guy right now.Its my first order with him.

The purple cost 165 euros an ounce including delivery and insurance.Ill post some pics and a smoke report when It turns up.

Maybe 20-25 a g. I was getting the best bubble I have ever seen for 30 per g. That was completely worth it and was full melt with incredible taste and potency. The high lasted for 3 hrs + and went from being completely in the head to slowly creeping through the body until complete relaxation was achieved. That looks like average hash. I make my own every now and again and mine is generally darker than that without much impurity. You could just get an ounce and grind it all down for keif and make it yourself. That way you spend a lot less and are getting it to come out how you want. I would sample it and if it isn't the best hash you have ever tasted/smelled/smoked then pass on it.

Bingo. You are being a little to open with the info though man, I dont recommend you posting a smoke report on the purple here, do it at that forum. I dont think he is taking new customers at the moment and Im sure he dont need the heat of you posting all that on a public forum(here).

Just tell him it isnt worth $100 a sack and pm that info, everybody and their mother dont need to know about it.

Those prices you are quoting change from day to day too, depending on how bad the dollar is getting its ass kicked by the euro.
