Question regarding how to change lighting schedule

OK,, i have my lights on Veg at the moment, and I am interested in changing the time at which the lights are off.

Im running them at 20 on and 4 off.

I want to move the time for when the lights are OFF to a different part of the day.

What method is best to do this. I was thinking that I should
leave the lights "ON" for 24 - 28 hours straight... then change the OFF setting to the appropriate time of day that I want.

That is my thought on it,, i just wanna get a little but more thought from others about it.

In veg.....it isn't such a big deal which way round you do it......so giving them a longer "day" is fine. Just keep the "day" going until you reach the new "lights off" time.

In flower......it's always best to give the plants a long "night".

In veg, it doesn't matter one little bit. Do whatever is most convenient for you.
