Ive heard that landrace sativas are many times likely to hermi, Im wondering if this is true and if so which sativa is most likely not to herm in an indoor enviroment? Im looking for that long flowering up awake sativa with that calming sort of put you in a relaxed dream state but with energy n not paranoia that ive only heard about... Thanks for any advice!

GET MO, first of all ime all cannabis; Indicas and Sativas grown naturally in their enviroments use to be quite hermie, it's a natural trait from Cannabis very difficult to avoid.

About the effect and experience you're talking about, I will go with: Golden Tiger, Green Haze x Meao Thai, Panama, Jamaica 85', MexTiza.....all this strains are pure Sativa, very potent and hopefully will put your head up for many hours :)

GET MO, you should take a read into the ACE and CbG forum, there's lot of info. about the Panama line, made from three different line 2 Panama's and one Columbian, 100% Sativa if I'm not wrong it's a F5 inbreed line, so....

Panama it's a very good choice

Hello Get Mo,

As Pablo commented, most landrace strains (indica or sativa) usually have hermie tendencies, depending on the strain the hermie % will be higher or lower. But is the job of the breeder to select against hermie traits and to produce hybrids that match the needs of the modern growers.

I think what you are looking for is Tikal, her effect is euphoric and energetic but anti anxious and very positive, flowering time is quite short for a pure sativa, around 10-12 weeks. Standard Orient Express would also work for you but it's a bit more indica, anyway OE effect is also up, positive and anti anxious. Hope it helps!

just read up on tikal, sounds like some good stuff, thanks yo. I probly make that my next order.... I orderred the panama so I think ima roll with it for outdoors this year, n maybe make some crosses with my herijuanaXchemdawg and a few other strains Ima be growin outside. Panama red X ecsd sounds like it would be some dope... Really want to keep a cut in its original state tho too if I find a keeper cuz I keep hearin the OGs talk about some panama red and how it was some uh the best stuff they had.

Yo Getmo! There was a Blueberry going around sack awhile ago(03-04) and it had a complete euphoric high! Great morning smoke, but wasn't weak. I remember smoking it one morning and opening the curtain in my room and the sun became very bright and fuzzy with everything looking like a flashback scene in a movie. Everything was so bright and fuzzy and I was so happy! At the time I was dealing with horrible anxiety and the blueberry just calmed me down so much and made me think everything was going to be okay. Every time I get a good blueberry that is grown right, it does the same thing. Just smoked some Blue Candy and it had a similar, but not as profound effect on me. I know it isn't the long flowering sativa you are looking for, but the effects were amazing.

I grew panama in a beer cup in she did not hermi on me yet. I have grown a few panama crosses and no hermies there either. I've run my mom 5 times and she is still solid. Panama is a steal and on par with SSH in my humble opinion.

High GET MO,

Panama is a great strain to create your own hybrids, it's easy to pass her potency, outdoor vigour, outdoor resistance, resin production and aromas to the hybrids. Best wishes with your projects!

Sure 3dDream,

Panama is a very hermie resistant strain, we have not find any hermie in the last generations, and we have grown and seen LOTS of panama plants :)

We are pleased you rate her so high, SSH is also a great sativa dominant strain but panama has no indica, no skunk or dutch haze :)

hey guys. there's 'haemaphrodite' and 'sex-altered'. true hermis are quite rare. sex altered, where a female plant will throw a branch or a bunch of flowers that's male, is much more common.
altho it's a bummer when this happens it's also an opportunity to get more feminized seeds if you've got somewhere to grow-on the plant that won't fertilise yr females. Cheers ...

thats wuts up gOvnaa, Ill post some veg shots real soon and some flower shots, dry shots, the works!
Yo wilbur, what you just said is how you keep hermi genetics alive. you breed with a full out hermi chances are a lot of the offpring will carry the hermi gene, ive heard 50% female 50% hermi, bad idea for breeding.

Hello Get Mo,

All the panama plants are vigorous and powerful but there are differences in stretching, flowering time and colors. If you are breeding for indoor growing, i'd recommend you to select the most compact males with fat stems and that flower early and abundantly in the first weeks of 12/12 photoperiod. Colors are not so evident indoors, sometimes is interesting to grow clones outdoors in a bit cold conditions to find the most colorful parental plants.

Hope it helps, good luck!
