Question on grow tent design with co2 added.

So I'm looking to put my grow tent back to good use in the near future and the only thing I don't really have is a co2 system.
My setup : 5x5x7 tent
600W HPS, looking to upgrade to a raptor or magnum reflector and maybe make the jump to a 1kw HPS.
Titan E&F 12 site kit
6" can fan (about 330 cfm which is double the CF of my tent appx 175 cu ft) strapped to a 6" can filter (about 312 CFM per manufacturer website.
AquaFX RO 100gpd unit that I want to upgrade eventually.
16" oscillating fan to keep air moving hung from the ceiling (it's a weird look but it works well)

I have my reservoir outside the tank with a two pumps in the drum, one in the center recirculating the water in a column upwards for surface aeration (which from my understanding puts more o2 in the water than an airstone would, the other pump is for filling the controller on flood cycles. I have the can fan strapped above the access door I use to keep it out of sight but as high up as possible to pull heat out, thru ducting into my air cooled hood, through the can fan and then up and out through the ceiling port in my tent.

Now my question is I want to do co2 enrichment on the next upgrade. I'm planning on a 20lb + tank, regulator (which I need opinions on what's going to be reliable and most bang for my buck), some form of ppm reader and sensor for the tent. Can I keep the inline fan running during the on cycle with the filter up top and add co2 without it being sucked out of my tent? I know co2 is heavier and will settle but my biggest concern is going to be heat extraction but not wanting co2 to get sucked out and piss money down the drain. Will my setup work like I want it to or do I need to run an additional fan to make it work?

I would suggest the Bio2 CO2 Enhancement system. It was designed for use in your size tent. The cost is only 60 cdn for the Bio2 Bucket Kit which comes with a 3 week charge of Bio2. It is capable of keeping average ppm above 800 even with the ventilation running continually. The Bio2 product will not change your room conditions. No heat, no humidity, no electricity, just happy, healthy plants!! Refill packs cost 10 cdn per week.

Cool. Thanks for the advice. Can I get a second opinion from anyone not trying to sell me their own product? (not trying to be a dick MegaMass, was honestly hoping for more feedback than a vendor)

As long as the glass seals real good to the hood then you won't lose co2 that way. That said, tents in general are not air tight so consider that before you spend the $$$ on a co2 system.
I use an HTG brand regulator, have had it for 5 years now without issue, as well as a Hydro Innovations co2 monitor which has also been trouble free for 5 years.
I hate to say it but that vender probably has the cheapest option for you...

Okay cool. I figured I was going to run in to sealing issues with a tent, but I just really needed a few second opinions to ensure I'm not pissing hard earned money up a hogs ass but if the disposable option is cheaper and helps me pull some more weight out of my next harvest then I guess it'll be money well spent.

Cheers!

i dont think you need the co2 at all if you intake fresh air it is free and does same thing with the pollution in the world today i go for the free stuff, you are in a tent it breathes and your filter combo will just suck it out unless you recycle exhaust air in the tent then that doesnt help with the heat in there.i run a scrubber with fresh air into my 2x4x60in tall tent and run speed controler on my exhaust fan to keep walls from sucking in

Mmp isint trying to sell you some shit, hes presenting a legit option. Im guessing you have possible peeked through my thread as you know the bio2 is his product.

Its a quality option that affordable and stealth. In my ventilated tent my ppm is excellent.

Incase you have not been through the thread heres the link.https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=303566:tiphat:

There is also the Enhancer C02 bottle , not a Deep Investment and if its not working for you, either stop using it or upgrade to some serious gear.

They say one bottle will last the Whole Bloom period of a crop.

Add 1 liter warm Water (to activate), afterwards just gently shake it everyday at lights on.

I saw a shaker in person yesterday. Not something I would recommend.

Theres no way it will last a whole cycle. Its only got a pinch of yiest and sugar. It would probably be toast in a couple days. The bio active product im testing burns out in a week anx has been blowing alot of ppm in my tent, im averaging well over 1000 ppm in a ventilated tent.

Also for the plants to benefit from added co2, other things would have to be dialed in, otherwise its just a waste.

Would be fun to tests out the Enhancer, soom seems pretty happy with them but its hard to judge ..

I just left a grow that I was using co2. Had 2 flower rooms and a considerable veg area. Was using a really big co2 genny(propane). I had ductwork going from the veg area into both flower rooms. The ductwork had small intake fans as well as one run without it. Then had your average 6" inline fans pulling air thru the lights.

With that set-up the plants did extremely well. Both flower rooms were on track to being dialed in, and even without being dialed in, produced nice harvests of dense buds.

The whole 20'x 15' grow area was sealed up, and I was just recirculating enriched air from room to room. The air the plants depleted of co2 was pulled thru carbon scrubbers, which emptied into the main veg area. Where it was replenished with co2 from the propane genny.

Just an idea for ya. Wanted to explain the whole process so you could wrap your head around the idea. The idea being that if you could without problems enrich the air in the room that the tent is in, and draw that air thru your tent, it would work. It would also allow you to be able to use co2 enrichment without raising the temps in your tent considerably. Co2 genny's put out a considerable amount of heat, and like someone else said, without all other variables in check, using co2 isn't productive.
