Your question is a good one bro.

I have made a few very EARLY strains using NON-AF x AFs, usually F1s that do great outdoors, they always show a faster finishing time then the Original NON AF parent...

The GG line has AutoFlowering genetics in it, from 2 sources ,, the Afghani AutoMatic and one of the first Semi AF strains Mighty Mite. The GG line was selected for NON-AF plants that finished early, Im sure they found a few True AF plants finishing far earlier then the others and where discarded, selecting only the plants that would finish much larger but still very early in the season.

With such a long history of AF genetics in the GG lines, it would be not surprizing to see a few True AF plants show up in the F1 gen in the Cross of GG x OGRE. But you would also find some Semi-AF plants that get larger and finishes weeks later. You could select for those plants and continue that selection until you have a new hybrid on your hands... but...

OGRE is a far different type of AF then most AFs on the market.. it can reach 5 ft indoors in the same amount of time it takes most AFs to reach 1 - 2.5 ft and finish, given the right amount of soil and food, and just as big outdoors as long as they can get 8 hours of direct sunlight each day, and LOTS OF FOOD AND WATER!!! They are hungry, thirsty, and require a nice amount of soil if in containers a minimum of 5 gallon buckets with good drainage... My point is this... you might find something that finishes faster and it might be either a TRUE AF or Semi AF, either way it may be bigger then your GG line, which is a win win for you and the genetic line. ;)

Hope that helps and good luck with the project! Will be watching.
