Question for PBP users that used to use fox farm nutes

I really cant believe the difference between PBP and grow big,I used to think FF was great until I tried PBP veg.The results are so unbelieveably visable its been totally unexpected.I recently purchased a gallon of tiger bloom have about half left and am really wanting to try PBP flower. Is the flower formula so obviously superior to tiger bloom as the veg formula is to grow big?If so I'll donate this TG to mother earth and score me some PBP bloom.I'm not disappointed with tiger bloom in any way,and except for the occasional burn even after years of using lol,I wasnt disappointed with FF grow big.Its just the difference is so recognizable when used with liquid karma anyway.

I switched over last grow to the PB veg and bloom. I went through 3/4 of a gallon of PBB with 12 plants. You will use a lot more than you did with the FF.

You know to each his own. I'm gonna be switching back to Fox Farms from PBP. I think I get more robust growth and bigger yields. Maybe I bought an old gallon and it's strength was weakened.

I agree Smokey. My FF was a couple years old and I am not overly impressed with the PB for the money and how far they go. 50 bucks per grow for bloom is a little much. I might try one with the Peters, lol.......

My daughter and I have been using Peter's 20-20-20 for veg and a liquid Pure Flowers 0-30-20 for bloom. I am not real happy with the yield lately, though I was getting 1lb/1000w in soil at first. My daughter just spent $140 for PBP veg, bloom and Liquid Karma for a test run. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Since larger root masses usually equates to larger top and bigger yields, I am looking for suggestions as to the best additive during veg to increase root mass. Any suggestions?

The best way to develop root mass is to allow the soil to dry often. This causes the roots to expand looking for water. It is especially important when the plants are young.

The good part of the Pure Blend is it is hard to over fert. I was using an ounce and a half per gallon of the bloom.

Pops use the pbp from the start, when you put your cut insoil use 1 1/2 teaspoons and 3 or 4 teaspoons of LK.Use the pbp every watering when they get 10-12 inches go with 3 teaspoons and large vegging plants get 6 teaspoons.I love a fert I can use every time and the results I've got from the veg formula plus LK totally blows away grow big with my pheno's anyway,I'm looking forward to the flower formula.Cost is insignificant when you think about it.O yea just use 3-4 teaspoons LK with the cuts maybe 3 or 4 waterings, then switch to the normal 2 teaspoons LK per gallon.
