question for colorado growers

I don't know anybody in the state and have no desire to become a caregiver. The reason is because I don't want to sell to anybody, therefore I have no reason for anyone in the world to know that I grow besides my doctor.

I do plan to get a card but that of course only allows for six plants.

So my question is, what would your expectation be of a real world sentence for a first time offender, no record tax payer growing 99 plants?

Do you suspect I'll do time if I get busted? Obviously I'll be 90+ plants over limit, hehe...

Thanks. Sorry for the weird question. I'm trying to gauge whether the risk is worth it to me.

Welcome to Colorado....

First some counties are much more lenient than others but that said.... probable charges would be Felony Cultivation, most likely possession with intent to distribute (Felony). I have seen one case where the person was not medical, had 5 mature plants, 8oz, no gun in house and got 1 year probation with all dropped to possession under an oz. He had a kick ass expensive lawyer.
Another guy I knew in a different county got caught with one immature plant growing, no gun, no dried and processed.... got 2 years in a halfway house and 2 years probation. According to both they had no records.
With 90 plus plants and being medical..... They are going to pound you. You see most of the cops and much of the court system like compliant medical because they want their taxes. Know a guy that drove up to a bust got his card and medicine checked by one cop while the rest kicked in the front door and took all to jail. The cop checking the person I knew said he would not touch the "medicine" but would like to see it and smell it. He did and returned it. He then told the guy I know, " you see that pointing at the house the people in cuffs, we are looking for that and we will get them. You and your medication as long as your in the law, we have no problem with it." "You let your friends know and you are free to go." I was one of two other people in the car at the time and the guy with the medication was the driver. No ask to search or attempt at sobriety test and did not even ask us in the car our names. This was not in liberal Denver or Boulder.
Just my input.

Peace

Sorry double post some how.

One question or observation. If not selling why go over the limit? Only answer if you feel like it. Anyone with the skills to keep over 90 plants going and in good shape should easily be able to supply himself and family with all the medication they can handle with 3 mature plants... really I could do it with 1 with 1000w or outside. Just saying.

Peace

Thank you for your experience and insight. I wish to have a ton of plants because I'm a huge strain whore out of necessity; my family member is ill and i'm in a constant search for improvement.

If that is really the case why not just sample all of the thousands of strains you can get at an MMC then buy a clone of the one that works for you?

To answer your original post, you will get fucked over by the police for that many plants. It will be way past obvious that it is not just a personal grow.

We are 2 years into fighting a completely papered caregiver grow for 20+ patients at an expense of over $20k.

If you are black market, stay underground. Don't ruin the med system we have here by abusing it.

Pluggin;
IIRC, the numbers for personal grow are 6 ea (3 in bloom)... for each person in residence over 21 years of age...

I'm still confused as to whether it's 12 per household or 6 per person.

Sorry i'm not more help.

First off.. Go to Dr. Cohen and get a 24 ct. It's a genuine and compassionate dr.'s, easy peazy..

Laws just changed so it's harder to get to a 99ct…Need a 2nd dr. recommendation

do research on local municipal codes, know if you are within city limits
basically if yo uhave medical paperwork, get extended plant count... do it, especially if you plan on doin 99.

Yes. Get the extended count n try to stay within limits.
I got a 50ct n my buddy 75ct recently renewed w minimal xtra scrutiny or bs, jst the xtra $.

I'm curious tho. Is there an agency within the mmd for plant counts and compliance issues like pesticides for individual med growers? (If so how do they make there lists?) Or is it jst the cops counting plants?
I only seem to hear about inspections in big grows/dispos...

How often hav any of u personal med growers had contact w cops or inspectors?
And why? What brings the heat?

Thank
Good luck
Big ups respect and happy growing.

no agency to really regulate individual growers, if u wana gro round up ready miracle grow weed sprayed down with e20 & avid, that's your RIGHT!
hell the state barely even regulates the licensed industry... this whole residue testing thing was supposed to be in place long ago. call CO MED office and ask them nearly any question that you already know the answer to... that will give u an idea of where we are at still.

I had issues with cops in aurora, they just counted, didnt even really search, i coulda had a brick of coke and 100 lbs under my bed and they wouldn't have found it in my case. in my case it was a cluster fuck of bullshit scenario that brought them down on me, mostly just being in a tight neighborhood of tightass geezers (no offense to the elder members of icmag). basically: smell, profiling, and parking all played into bringing "the fuzz".
also; fuck aurora, 100% fuck aurora
read municipal code for your area - best advice i can give, and check ZONING code not just criminal code. keep your med papers up to date and clearly displayed.
