Question about RE-VEGGING + possible idea for increased yield

If you switched back to a veg light cycle for the last week of flower, would the buds get bigger due to receiving more light or be stunted due to lack of dark period?

I know that it generally takes a few weeks to reveg a plant in full flower and that whatever flowers are already formed will continue to mature. I am just wondering if those buds lose any potency or size as a result of the light cycle.

My idea is to switch the lights 24/0 for last week and harvest before the plant actually starts to develop new vegetative growth.

Also if you are planning on revegging the plant after harvest, perhaps switching back to 24/0 before the chop may speed the process up.

Thats my experience.

There are two growth hormones in the plant at a single time. One is vegetative the other is floral hormones. If you change the photoperiod you will change the growth hormones balance which will lead to weak flowers. Flowers reversed will be less potent and lack flowering hybrid vigor.
