question about possible auto mother plant??

dont know if u guys just watched the grafting vid in a diff sec. well anyway i did and a lightbulb turned on in my head. did some searching and didnt find any info so. could one graft a auto onto a photoperiod strains rootstock? would this keep the plant from dieing on the set schedule of autos? possible to turn into mom and still be full auto flowering. or would said graft just continue flowering as if nothing happened? anybody try this??

Once flowering hormones are being created, it is natural for flowering to continue. If u put a connected branch in a dark cycle, it will flower normally. I must assume that a branch on a borrowed root system would behave normally for itself. Grafting gives new roots, flowering happens in the nodes

Autos are bred for the capability of flowering regardless of light, soil, stress, temp, conditions and grafting it won't change it's genetics, and if you did get a graft (it would prolly flower a little and die) but if it magically didn't you would have to induce flowering yeah?
