Question about PH of runoff water

Hi experts and thanks for your help.
I’m growing in a soil-less mix that is made out of mainly peat-moss, vermiculite, perlite and I guess that it also has dolomite lime.
Anyway even when I irrigate with 5.7 PH the runoff gets as high as 6.5 and above.
If I irrigate with 6.3-6.5 I get more the 7 PH.

What should I do – relay on the runoff readings or just ignore it and keep on irrigating within the safe range?

Thanks

Yes you should ignore it. Your numbers are fine. Why are you lowering your ph to 5.7, seems to low for a peat based mix.

Well the only rason I lowered it so much was to get a lower runoff reading, but now that you confirmed that I should ignore the runoff I'll keep the incoming wter at 6.3-6.5
Thanks Dr.
