Question about my auto ak-47

I've got some auto ak-47 going. This is my first time growing auto flowing plants. There 3 weeks old now in 2 gallon pots with Fox Farm Ocean Forrest. They look good and are flowering.. My question is when should I feed these plants? On one of my plants the stems going to the biggest fan leaves is turning purple.. Should I be ready to throw some nutes at them? Or just let em go?
I started them from seed in fox farm, To be precise FFOF with 25% perlite with dolomite lime added..

I start my plants on a small portion of flower-nutes as soon as they show sex, after that I slowly crank the amount up depending on what strain it is and how they react to it.

Are you using fox farm nutrients, or what nutrients do you have? Are you using teas?

What you have on hand to use will determine, but If they look good, then I would start slow..Auto's can be sensitive.

I have all the fox farm nutes, What would starting slow be? 1/4 or 1/2 of what the schedule says? I was just thinking of starting with Big Bloom, Am Kinda nervous about using Tiger Bloom because its chemical base.

If the plant doesn't look like it needs anything, then it may not. Some autos can go the distance with nothing but decent soil.

I once ran 2 LR2s in FFOF soil. Seed to chop in 60 days. One plant got the big 3 FF nutes and molassas on schedule, the other plant got molassas only. Never saw any difference in the plants health, yield, quality, etc. . . .

pssst, bobbster,,, you don't know how much a pix or two could help about now,,,

like the girls say - size matters.

watch your butt with tiger bloom - it drops the ph at the label doseage. - it will grow you a good garden - but easy does it to start especially.

AK-47 Autofloweing? That isn't Simon's gear from Serious Seeds. Whats the story?

:yeahthats
If it were me, I would start by using the big bloom and work up. I used tiger bloom 1 time in FFOF soil, and it jacked my auto's up. If I was going to use fox farm nutes, I would keep it to their big bloom, and the happy frog organic line, like Happy Frog Fruit and Flower.

Once you add chemical nutes like tiger to an up to that point organic grow, it throws everything out of whack. IMO.

Don't know what you mean by Simon's gear.. Their Lowlife auto ak-47 that's all I know..

I will take some pics tomorrow.. I was going to today but I had a million things going on with the garden, So it slipped my mind..

I gave them some Big Bloom and the tiniest bit of tiger bloom, I did it before I was able to check back on this thread, I kinda wish I wouldn't have now.. The solution I gave them was about 500ppm's so not strong.. Well have to wait and see..

Thanks for the help fellas!!

Simon is top dog at Serious Seeds - and that was the original breeder of AK-47 - which I have at about a month old - no flowering on mine. I pick a mom for clones,, -so autoflowering to me is a bad thing.

As I remember during flower,, I used Tiger Bloom at about 1/2 strength, - 1 teaspoon per gallon; and that dropped my tap water pH down to 6.0-ish.

Big bloom is good shit - and can go a couple tablespoons per gallon easily.
Big Bloom is good in veg too (worm castings)

A lil TB early in veg is a good thing usually - just go light with babies - as you know!

These are Ak-47 x Lowrider, Im going to be using them to make seeds for our outdoor season coming up. Since the summer is short these will do nicely..
