question about last bit of flowering stage

On many strains the formation change in the last 20 days is unbelievable. 2 weeks is extremely important the difference in celebrating or throwing the whole thing away for me.

I start counting days of bloom only after the first 'hairs' are visible, usually about 14-21 days after the switch to 12/12 and towards the end of the stretch. IMO, until that time they are still vegging. Somewhere in there is that extra 2 weeks that you should let them 'bloom!'. GL.
