Question about flushing...

I just flushed my 6 girls a 4/5 days ago with 3x volume of container and watered once since with RO water. I'll be ready to chop the first one in a few days and I have a few questions...
1. I used tap water to flush, will the small amount of chlorine/mg/cal/etc. in the tap have an effect on the final product?
2. Do I need to flush more before I harvest, or is once enough? I flushed with alot of water until it ran clear and then some but reading some other peoples info, they like to flush 3 or more times before the final chop.
3. Is flushing once, one week before harvest enough?

Thanks in advance! Peace

Tap is ok.

I'd flush everytime from now on till finish, so how many times depends when you cut.

I start say 2 weeks till cut and use just water.

but you should not flush the nutes out prior 2 these 2 weeks ......just feed them 2 weeks plain water...if you flush them in prime time when buds are riping...you gonne affect grow ....if you cut them of nutes then can't realy ripen these 2 weeks...

i hope i'm explaining this right...nways thats what some people learnd me....:2cents:

if i'm wrong ..Plz correct me...!!

To restate my question more simply...

Is one flush, one week before harvest (followed by watering with just water) enough to get out all of the nutes built up in the plant?

Thanks for the replys sinful and core!

hehehe it will ..you already flushed everything out nways...that woz the thing i woz telling you no 2 do...better do it the other way around next run..

plain water for 2 weeks ...and a little flush before chop if your not shure ...that would be the way 2 go my friend
dont even need a flush that way....
it realy is important not to depriving them from EVERY nute.....NOT IN THAT STAGE...

Yeah Core explained it better.

I refered to flushing as being only water for 2 weeks, not a Full on Flush.

Sorry for the confusion.

if its synthetic ferts or hydro i would flush for 2 weeks..but if using organic nutes in soil i would flush for 7 days...when i say flush i mean each watering i give them i let it runoff until the ec is at 0..remember u might think u washed all the salts and solutions out of the soil..but a few days later the plant will kick out wastes through the roots after burning up the ferts that are still in the plant..so 2 or 3 good flushes with excessive runooff is necessary.imo...but some would say otherwise and that flushing is not necessary.
