Question about converting a CAP CO2 Generator

Whats up my people.... Just had a quick question for you, since the owners and employees of the MULTIPLE hydrostores I visited had no clue how to get the information to answer this question.. (Well actually I just smoked, so you're gonna get the story first. Or just scroll to the bottom for the question....that is.. if you don't care about my fucking story!! jerk!!... just kidding :tiphat:)

Okay, so I've always been a co2 in a tank with regulator and controller type of guy. But I thought I had a sweet deal, so I craigslisted my tank and regulator, and bought a friends CAP GEN1e generator from a friend for a good price.

But..

I didn't know there were was a Liquid Propane version and a Natural Gas version... I always thought there was only the LP and if you wanted it to work on NG, then you bought a conversion kit...

Ok, so come to find out, this is a Natural Gas converter... I need a Liquid Propane converter. I would just use the natural gas, but i'm in a detached garage where there is no gas. So I go online.... Google, Yahoo, Bing... "C.A.P NG to LP conversion kit"... (Conversion kit being the term that CAP used in their owners manual). Two relevant links come up... one, some thing that says I need a part called the LPC-1.. the second, an ebay auction for an LPC-1. So I really needed it right then, and hoped I could get it quickly. So I call a guy I know who owns a hydro store. He calls back and says, "man, the warehouse has exactly ONE of those parts left, I'll go get it and bring it to you"... He brings it, and noticing that the sealing was already broken on the package, I decide to open it immediately.... and under all the paper in the box, is ONE freaking burner. Not a conversion kit, just one brass burner.... in this huge fucking box. So, he looks in there, and says he'll take it back, but the warehouse has no more.

So I go to another store, one of my regular stops. He looks on a site, and there is nothing posted as an LPC-1. So he says, "Cool man, i'll call the company and give you a ring in an hour or two." which of course he never does. So right before they close, I go back there, of course he hasn't called. But in the meantime I did some research, using the same site I saw him go on. They had a part listed as REG10-LP or something like that which was simply the replacement piece for a LP burner. But it's the same pic as the one in the ebay ad. So when I get back to the store, I show him, and he says, "Yeah maybe, but i'd rather call and be sure..." And of course never does.... asshole.... So I contact the company on the site that he gets his stuff from and they say, "Yep you need the REG10-LP and BNR76 (new burners, I guess they are different for Natural Gas and Propane)" So I go back to the store, with a list of the new parts I need and the burners are like 30 bucks a piece, and the "conversion kit", which never was a conversion 'kit', only replacement parts (and mind you, the replacement parts are CHEAPER than the LPC-1 conversion kit, hint hint) was 30.....

But shit, I'm broke right now, so I could only afford to order two burners, and I need four. Now this leads me to my

QUESTION: I know there is a way you can cap off two of the burners so that the gas will only release from two of the burners. I was in the Depot the other day, and couldn't find anything, and didn't really wanna ask any associates. Can someone tell me whats the name of the piece I need, or post a pic or a link or something??

Thank you for your time my dear friends... no one else in my life wants to hear all this bullshit lol

Thanks Frank. Yep it's pretty much just like that. A regulator and some burners. I wonder if they would be interchangeable between manufacturers?
