question about clones

at what stage do i take clones from a mom. after i start to flower and determine that it is in fact a female? or keep it vegging and take clones then flower the clones to find out?

Make sure you know which moms the clones come from, though!

mine is already 26 days into flowering, what im going to do is harvest and then regenerate the mother i want to keep and take clones from her.

interesting. I just wasnt sure if people let the preflowers show and then return to veg state or keep vegging and then clone. then flower the clones to figure the sex

You can do either. I have taken clones as far as 6 weeks into flower. It makes them a little slow to revert to veg growing though. If you have trouble judging preflowers in veg,like I do,start a clone and put it flower,but then you have to wait for the clone to root and the plant to establish itself.

many strains get preflowers without that the plant is in a 12/12 lightning regime. This happens after around 4 weeks of vegetational stage
