Question about bucket size.

I'm on Day 26 with my 8 plants but I only want to flower 3-4 females. Can I start to flower them in these size buckets to see sex and THEN transplant them, because I don't think I can fit much bigger buckets in there now. Also how long will they take to show sex again, I forget?

Do they look alright? I started feeding them last watering with 1/4 dose. They are growing like mad.

Those look like 3-4 gallon buckets you have them in now. If they are 3gallon+, then you can finish them in those same buckets. No need to transplant. I finish mine in 3 gallon pots.

You can if you want transplant up in pots size after they show sex. It will set them back a few days, but if transplanted properly, they won't be hurt. I've transplanted 3-4 weeks into flowering. You may not want to go up in pot size though. What style of grow you thinking about? One thing you want to avoid is a "small plant in a BIG pot". Soil may stay wet too long, and that's not good.

I'd flip them right now. They'll probably show sex in 2 weeks or so. However, that can vary a lot with strain. What are they? And what size are those buckets? and what are the demensions of that closet, LxWxH?

You'll need to up the nutes soon after flipping. Some of these plants grow at very fast rates, 2-3 inches per day, the first 3-4 weeks of flowering. Usually begins slow the first week or so then really takes off.

Your plants look OK it's hard to tell. You need to turn of your light when taking pics. The HPS masks the true color of the plants.

What size light?
What is your soil makeup? Organic?
Did you add lime to it at 2Tbls/gallon
What sort of nutrients will you be using? Organic? Or std. chemical fertilizers?

This is one of 3 SSH plants I have flowering now, a very sativa dominant pheno. This one was vegged for about 25 days and was about 16" tall when I put it into flower. It was topped a couple days before 11/13. Here on day 30 of flower it is over four feet tall. She actually tripled in height in the first 24 days of 11/13. I have to constantly tie her around back down, wherever...to keep her out of my light.

This is another pheno that is on Day 24 of flower. She was vegged about same. She has been topped and extensively pruned. And is now close to four feet.

Buckets are around I'd say 2 and a half gallons:S? I dont know what to do? Sex them and then transplant or get tall skinny buckets.. or just leave them as is?

pots are fine but if you want 3-4 ladies a bigger pot for them is not going to hurt
