Question about a sick plant.

One of my plants showed a bit of yellow, now a day or so later it has got worse. The pictures are little whack but work with me.

The first day I noticed it was small. It spread more across the leaf.

The question I have is: Will it hurt the plant for me to cut off the affected area before it goes further towards the stem??

Thanks, Glad I asked before I took upon myself to cut it off.

I haven't. I'll pick a kit up today. I am going to also pick up some daylight 100w cfl's.

Maybe the well water is the problem, dunno.

now that I think about it, all the plants are light green and the seedling is dark green.

I'll fill out the form when I get back, got to run to the home de pot.

sound like all you need is to Ph your water
you got a ph tester?

ya 100w is good for popin beans.
anything more then that is over kill (too much light)

Damn, PH is 7.5...
damn, damn, damn. The poor plant looks very unhappy and the others aren't bad like the other one but they are looking a lighter shade of yellow/green.
Anyone how a good recommendation for what to buy to help the ladies out?

Thanks StoneyJoe

Another issue. They look VERY sad, droopy and depressed.

Another issue. They look VERY sad, droopy and depressed.

All the plants seem to be drooping a lot. I know I over watered them couple days back and I haven't watered them in 2 days. The top inch or so is dry buy the root ball is still fairly moist.
I pulled all 4 plants out and inspected their root balls. All roots were bright white, one kind of had a wet laundry smell.

What the best way to dry up the root ball and/or whats the best course of action..

These pictures were last night and I thought they were perking up, but they seem a little worse today..

Any ideas???????
