Question about 1000watt distance from canopy

Hello everyone I am building my flower box and wanted to know how far away I should install my screen for scrog. my box is 7 feet high 4 feet long and 21" wide. Now I know people will say it's a hotbox which would be but I installed a air cooled hood with a 400 cfm carbon filter fan blowing the hot air out. Than I have a window a/c blowing cold air in the box pics are here. So how far away should I install the screen. Like how far away from the light should I never let the planet grow to I will train and tie down so it does reach that point ?

the highest rate of photosynthesis in cannabis occurs at 1500 umols of flow.

with a 1k hortilux hps you will get a 1500 umol reading at around 16".

so no closer than that.

It's a light that I all rdy had of course I'm going to Ty and make it work I mean if I have a 1000 watt laying around and heat isn't an issiue shouldn't I use it or spend money and buy what a 400 ?
