pvc covered fans would hurt plants?

i know that pvc is toxic for plants.
but there are lots of pvc covered extractors.are they suitable for growing rooms ?

i know pvc is harmful for plant becasuse manufacturers of grow tens such as homebox ,secret jardin says '' pvc free grow tens ''.


however i see many people happy with their fan..

i want to know whether these fans are ok ?

pvc softener is bad for plants. whatever it is they use to make pvc soft for tents, that's what kills plants

so,hard pvc such as substracts that is used for covered extractors wouldt kill plantsw,would it ?

I don't know what sustracts is/are but hard pvc pipe doesn't hurt my plants. Lots of hydro systems, scrog screens and tent frames are made from pvc. Hope this helps.

If you go to hydrohuts.com, you will find a .pdf from a 1984 journal article explaining everything. Wow, this is a really old problem. The problem is not phthalate plasticizers in PVC, which Hydrohut never used, it is the phthalate presence in all kinds of plastics that use them to make the plastic more plastic (shower curtains seem to be the worst), including PVC. Fortunately this does not include the rigid Schedule 40 PVC pipe that my tent frame is made of! But who knows about some of my pots, or grow bags, or aluminum foil-covered plastic 6" ducting? But since these are light items, even if they contained lots of phthalate, given the air circulation, the amount present at any one time would have to be quite small.

I have no idea what "substracts that is used for covered extractors" means.
