Putting fan leafs and root balls into old soil?

Hey friends, do you think its possible to do this and just use for compost? I would throw all this matter into my yard can but id rather keep it in my backyard. Thanks

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but adding uncomposted plant matter to soil can be a disease/pest vector if it's used on living plants.
