Purpling of stems...

Does this look like a magnesium deficiency?

If so, does that mean I should be adding a little Epsom salts to take care of that before it gets worse?

Sure why not, but that tiny bit of purple is not anything to get nervous about. That plant is fine.

Depends on genetics. If not....consider the following:

If you believe there is a nutrient problem with your cannabis plant, for example if your plant is also growing slowly or the leaves are discolored, then the plant may be suffering from…

Incorrect pH – The pH being too high or too low at the roots is the most common reason to see purple or red stems! (or any deficiency)
Magnesium deficiency can cause purple stems. A good cannabis-friendly nutrient system has a significant amount of magnesium, but if you're using very soft water, or RO water, you may need to add a Cal-Mag to your nutrient regimen.
Temperature – heat or especially cold can trigger red/purple stems in some places
Humidity – very high or low humidity can stress plants (especially young seedlings)

Below is magnesium deficiency.

It looks fine to me but it's totally strain and temperature dependent. Strains that look regular green will develop red and purple hues in the winter when the grow room is a few degrees cooler. The longer you grow a strain the more you learn it's idiosyncrasies. Check out how colorful my Purple Satellite was last June.

I use Epsom Salts so I know it wasn't magnesium deficient!

Not magnesium imo.

If lower leaves are yellowing in your in early-mid flw then id say could be very low level p def.

Not really anything to worry about.

Various genetics will show this when there is nothing really wrong.

What is its genetics btw?

In all likelihood it will go away completely when potted up again anyway.

All three plants were bagseed from an ounce of Sour Alien OG, all three look like different phenos as well. All show that purpling, some a little more than others.

They were just up-potted 3 weeks ago into 3.5 gallon root trainer air pots, from Solo cups...if I had to guess I transplanted at least 2-3 weeks late, but they responded extremely well to their new homes and got very thirsty. More than doubled in size in two weeks.
