Purple?

Hello all i am in search of a purple strain and would like some input on what would be the best, Must be at min 50% indica because these will be grown outdoors and harvest here is 2nd week of oct, now im not talking about a small amount of purple i would like to have deep purple like black russian, so come on peps help me find this fine ladie and one more thing must be in seed because i cant get to the med clubs out in cali.

Purple power is fast and solid purple 90% of the time it isn't very potent though. Its not 50% indica but will finish before october even starts. Out of 5 females of nirvana seeds swazi I got 2 solid purple females. both the swazi and purple power don't make purple leaves just solid purple buds. Purple #1 is supposed to consistently produces solid purple buds 50% of the time. I've grown shaman a few times outside and never gotten any purple flowers. I've never grown pure purple star before. None of these varieties are exceptionally potent but I think the swazi is the best of them all and can actually be quite good. Of the nirvana swazi the purple plants tend to be stickier too. I can't remember the company but someone that either is or used to be at seed boutique makes a nebula x black domina. I got some freebies of these that indoors produced purple calyxes from the start the buds would've gotten really potent but both of the females I had did a complete sex reversal 3-4 weeks in. There were no problems with light poisoning but my air conditioner broke and they got up to 85 for 3-4 days which still isn't that bad but may have caused them to be hermaphrodites. But the buds would've been really strong dark purple had I let them finish. I know they don't advertise it as purple but I'd go with 2-3 packs of the nirvana swazi and you'l definitely get 3-5 females with solid purple flowers. After that I'd go with the purple #1 or the twilight though I've never grown the twilight. Also some hollands hope varieties are pretty consistently purple. All of these varieties are very early. The swazi is the latest and I normally harvest it around the last week of sept first of october at 38 North.

I tried Shaman and outa 4 females I got 2 'light' purple phenos, and 1 super dark purple pheno.. The remaining girl hermied a couple weeks into flower.... The male I kept also turned slightly purple..

They were fairly potent, heady smokes, but the taste is what I didn't realy like.. A little too woody/haylike for me.. A nice citruis smell in flower, but it doesn't carry over to the smoke..

Purple #1 is a good recomendation for getting guaranteed purple and an early harvest..

But I think the only purple variety from seed I'm realy interested in at the moment is 'Sweet Purple' from Paradise seeds.. It's supposed to taste like strawberries and have a decent potency.. Plus, it's realy cheap..

I grew out a strain called Indigo by kindseed when I visited their office in vancouver bc.. I haven't seen this strain listed at most seed shops though.

It doesn't have any berry aftertones. Decent indica high.

There's always blueberry family and nirvana Papaya got purp buds out of only 5 seeds sprouted, so don't know the likelyhood of you finding the same.

Twilight- Dutch Passion

A 100% pure Indica with a Afghan taste and high yields. Buds are dark purple, almost black looking. Not to mention a quick finisher at 7 weeks and fairly cheap on price.

Purple looks great in the sack, most are weak. heres a shot of some Purple Kush S1s, that didnt turn out well. very weak pot, but hella lookin girl.

Some of the Burmese pure turn purple and have lots of glands. My purple power was very purple but with no power and no glands to speak of.

look up the purple lightstorm thread and you find a 100% purple indica that will purple up with no cool temps. its a Twilight x sandstrom cross.. check out the thread ..........
